soaking in god's presence
Spiritual ministry is a demonstration of the Holy Spirit and His power (see 1 Corinthians 2:4). Your effectiveness in carrying out what the Holy Spirit wants depends on your spiritual fitness gained from a close walk with God. Ministry Training Institute provides the spiritual environment of worship, meditating God's word, and prayers for you to soak in the presence of God daily to strengthen your spirit and to draw from the anointing. A habit of soaking in God's presence also refills your spirit with His power to overcome Satan and his demons that are attacking the world and people, keeping them in eternal destruction.
This spiritual development trains you to love God zealously, which is foundational to the next field of development—to reach the unsaved compassionately (see Matthew 22:37-39).
living for a higher purpose
Accomplishing the Great Commission is a higher purpose in life, above one's vocation and gifting. Beginning from where they are, trainees enter a territorial commitment to transform the community by intercessions and systematic evangelism. They each will plant a cell to win the people. Then, develop the cell into a section by sending out trained disciples to repeat the process. Multiplication of disciples will eventually transform the entire community.
In the strong evangelistic environment of World Harvest Church you can acquire the skills of winning people to Christ, restoring broken lives, renewing worldly minds, ministering healing, handling deliverance, and coaching people to live on God's abundance.
support for life and Dream
In the third field of development, you begin to mentor a network of disciples to give you (a vision carrier) the support to carry out your leadership and dreams. A vision team that functions effectively in group-dynamics and relates with one another in holy affection can provide you the support for handling the rhythm of life, transitions, crises, and success.
MTI and World Harvest Church (a cell based church) give the social environment for your relationship development to produce a network of disciples to accomplish the Great Commission with you. Disciples with ministry calling from God can become your fellow ministers in expanding the movement of the Holy Spirit.
Overflowing Blessings & Success
Effectiveness in spiritual ministry demands your exclusive relationship with Christ as a serious follower. Christ set two requirements for discipleship: loving Him above self, others, and practices; and practicing the word of God in all areas of life (see Luke 9:23-26; Matthew 10:37-39; Luke 9:57-62; John 15:7-8).
The fourth area of development trains you to build a close friendship with Christ, founded on love and proven in faithfulness, to open up a heavenly channel for the release of revelations (see John 15:14-15), overflowing blessings and success (see John 15:8), and a continuous manifestation of God's presence (see John 14:21, 23).

Doing spiritual works like preaching, healing, and deliverance is serving God with your spirit (see Romans 1:9). The fifth development in MTI trains you to operate your spiritual senses to work with the Holy Spirit competently. It trains you to be proficient in receiving and understanding inner witness, promptings of the Holy Spirit, inner voice, word of knowledge, word of wisdom, prophecy, discerning of spirits, dreams, and visions. It also trains you to be proficient in ministering healing, miracles, restoration, deliverance, revelation, godly counsel, and transformation.
Ministry is spiritual but working with the people whom God has entrusted you requires also proficiency in public speaking, communication, teaching, leadership, and relationships. |
