Jesus Christ gives salvation and heals all sicknesses completely.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me. … He has sent Me to proclaim … recovery of sight to the blind (Luke 4:18 NKJV).
‘The recovery of sight to the blind’ emphasizes that Christ can heal all kinds of sicknesses because He is able to heal blindness which is incurable.
When Christ saved us from sin, He has also granted healing for sicknesses.
Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed (Isaiah 53:4-5 NIV).
‘Transgression’ is contradicting what God says. ‘Iniquity’ means ‘sin’. This prophecy of Isaiah showed that Christ had to be wounded on the cross for our ‘transgressions’ and ‘iniquities’ to take away our ‘infirmities’ (or sicknesses) and ‘sorrows’ (or pains). When Christ died on the cross, He dealt with both the root of the problem (that is, sin) and also the consequence (sicknesses).
Christ healed all sicknesses, ranges from fever to handicaps (see Luke 4:38-39, 5:18-25). Some sicknesses that Christ healed are leprosy (see Luke 4:27), paralysis (see Mark 2:3), hemorrhage (see Matthew 9:20), fits (see Matthew 17:15), deafness, and dumbness (see Mark 7:32). All healings in the Lord Jesus’ ministry took place completely and immediately. Jesus took the man who had dropsy and healed him instantly (see Luke 14:4). The ear of the servant of the high priest was likewise healed (see Luke 22:51). The man who begged Him to come and heal his son who was at the point of death, found out from his servants that his son was completely healed at the same hour that Jesus said to him, “Your son lives” (see John 4:53). Healings also took place completely and immediately through the disciples of Jesus. The lame man at Solomon’s Portico was completely and instantly healed (see Acts 3:11). Aeneas, who was bedridden and paralyzed for eight years, arose immediately when Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you” (see Acts 9:34). The man who was born lame was immediately healed when Paul asked him to stand up by faith (see Acts 14:8-9).
God's will is for you to be healthy and well, enjoying the life He has given you with good health.
